Seit dem 7. Oktober haben wir einen drastischen Anstieg von Antisemitismus erlebt. Dieser wurde nicht zuletzt von bedeutenden Teilen der Kunst- und Kulturszene befeuert. In dieser Situation möchten wir innehalten und uns einige grundlegende Fragen stellen: Wie machen wir weiter, nachdem wir das schlimmste Pogrom gegen Jüdinnen und Juden seit der Shoah erlebt haben? Wie können wir mit der Tatsache umgehen, dass die oft stark vereinfachten Ansichten zum Nahostkonflikt zu einer gefährlichen Polarisierung geführt haben, die die Sicherheit der jüdischen Gemeinden bedroht? Können wir überhaupt noch von einem "Wir" sprechen, wenn Teile unserer Szene die Notwendigkeit der Solidarität mit den Opfern des Supernova-Festivals ignorieren? Und wie können wir eine Gegenkultur schaffen, die auf Empathie und gegenseitigem Verständnis basiert und eine Antwort auf den aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Diskurs bietet, der von oberflächlichen Solidaritätsbekundungen und rassistischer Entfesselung geprägt ist? Wir müssen uns fragen, für wen sind diese Räume im Moment sicher und offen. Und wie können wir unsere Szene zu einem Raum frei von Rassismus und Antisemitismus machen. Eine Szene, in der sich jede:r willkommen fühlt. Wir müssen uns fragen, wer in diesen Räumen derzeit sicher ist. Während der Veranstaltung werden wir diese Fragen in einem Podiumsgespräch mit der Journalistin Anastasia Tikhomirova, der Aktivistin Rosa Jellinek, der Künstlerin Neele und dem Veranstalter Roy Sinay.

Since October 7th, we have seen a sharp rise in antisemitism. This is stoked not least by considerable sections of the art and cultural scene. We would like to pause for a moment and ask ourselves: How do we move on after the worst pogrom against Jews since the Shoah? How do we cope with the reality that opinions on the Middle East conflict, often radically simplified, have fueled a level of polarization resulting in hazardous threats to the safety of Jewish communities? Is there even a "we" in a scene that partially overlooks the necessity of showing solidarity with the victims of the Supernova festival? And how can we create a subculture based on empathy as an answer to the current social discourse characterized by performative declarations of solidarity and racist disinhibition? We need to ask ourselves, for whom are these spaces safe and open at the moment? And how can we try to make our scene a space free from racism and antisemitism? A scene where everyone feels welcome. As part of the event, we will address these topics during the panel talk with the journalist Anastasia Tikhomirova, the activist Rosa Jellinek, the artist Neele, and the promoter Roy Sinay.
