Zu der Situation in Israel

Solidarität

In tiefer Trauer um die Opfer der menschenverachtenden Angriffe auf den Staat Israel und seine Bevölkerung stehen wir solidarisch an der Seite aller Betroffenen und Menschen jüdischen Glaubens in Israel und weltweit.

Die patriarchale, islamistische Ideologie der Hamas, des islamischen Djihad und der Hisbollah zielen auf die Existenz jüdischen Lebens, richten sich aber auch explizit gegen Frauen und die gesamte LGBTQ+ Community.

Die niederträchtige und barbarische Gewalt durch islamistische Terroristen, welche das Supernova Sukkot Festival überfallen haben, lassen uns auch als kultureller Veranstaltungsort schockiert zurück.

Wir sind in Gedanken bei den Familien, deren Mitglieder ermordet, verschleppt, vergewaltigt, misshandelt und gedemütigt wurden. Hamas, Hisbollah und islamischer Djihad, terrorisieren aber nicht nur Israelis sondern auch die palästinensische Zivilbevölkerung.

Antisemitismus

Die schwersten Massaker an jüdischem Leben seit der Shoah sind unerträglich. Antisemitische Vorfälle, Demonstrationen und Normalisierungen haben seit Jahren eine erneute Hochkonjunktur. Auf Demonstrationen wird regelmäßig „From the river to the sea — Palestine will be free“ skandiert, womit dem Staat Israel unverhohlen sein Staatsgebiet aberkannt wird. Auch die Unzulänglichkeit der „Free Palestine“- Sprechchöre, sich von der Hamas als Terrororganisation zu distanzieren, tragen zu einer Normalisierung von antiisraelischen Positionen bei. Antizionismus, Israelbezogener Antisemitismus und Boykottaufrufe sind Teil des kulturpolitischen Alltags mit dem sich nicht nur das Conne Island immer wieder konfrontiert sieht.

Kein Appeasement mit den Feinden Israels

Iranische Funktionäre und Vertreter unterstützender Organisationen werden durch Appeasement Politik, offizielle Einladungen und das Anlegen doppelter Standards hofiert und damit politisch legitimiert. Ihr tiefer Hass auf Juden, Frauen und die LGBTQ+ Community darf niemals toleriert werden! Niemals und Nirgendwo!

Never Again

Israel ist der einzige und notwendige Schutzraum jüdischen Lebens weltweit. Israel hat, wie jeder andere Staat weltweit, das legitime Recht auf Selbstverteidigung. Die Angriffe der Hamas, welche einen absoluten Vernichtungswillen sichtbar machten, haben einmal mehr diese Notwendigkeit zur Selbstverteidigung aufgezeigt. „Nie wieder“ bedeutet „Nie wieder schutzlos‘“!

Sicherheit und Schutz

Wir fordern die Gewährleistung der Sicherheit jüdischen Lebens sowie ein aktives gesamtgesellschaftliches Handeln gegen Antisemitismus. Der Staat Israel, dessen Gründung insbesondere aus den Verbrechen der Shoa resultierte, hat unsere volle Solidarität in der Sicherstellung um seine eigene Selbstverteidigung. Zudem sprechen wir den Menschen in Palästina, die sich aktiv gegen das Terrorregime der Hamas zur Wehr setzen, unsere volle Unterstützung aus.

Solidarity

In deep mourning for the victims of the inhumane attacks on the State of Israel and its people, we stand in solidarity with all those affected and people of Jewish faith in Israel and worldwide.

The patriarchal, Islamist ideology of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah aim at the existence of Jewish life, but are also explicitly directed against women and the entire LGBTQ+ community.

The vile and barbaric violence perpetrated by Islamist terrorists who attacked the Supernova Festival also leaves us shocked as a cultural venue.

Our thoughts are with the families whose members were murdered, abducted, raped, abused and humiliated. Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad terrorize not only Israelis but also the Palestinian civilian population.

Antisemitism

The worst massacre of Jewish life since the Shoah is unbearable. Anti-Semitic incidents, demonstrations and normalization have been booming again for years. “From the river to the sea - Palestine will be free” is regularly chanted at demonstrations, blatantly depriving the State of Israel of its territory. The inadequacy of the “Free Palestine” chants to distance oneself from Hamas as a terrorist organization also contributes to the normalization of anti-Israel positions. Anti- Zionism, Israel-related anti-Semitism and calls for boycotts are part of everyday cultural and political life that not only Conne Island is constantly confronted with.

No Appeasement with the Enemies of Israel

Iranian officials and representatives of supporting organizations are courted and thus politically legitimized through appeasement policies, official invitations and the application of double standards. Their deep hatred for Jews, women and the LGBTQ+ community must never be tolerated! Never and nowhere!

Never Again

Israel is the only and necessary protective space for Jewish life worldwide. Israel, like every other state in the world, has the legitimate right to self-defense. Hamas' attacks, which revealed an absolute will to destroy, have once again demonstrated this need for self-defense. “Never again” means “Never again without protection”!

Safety and Security

We demand all necessary actions to guarantee the security of Jewish life and that society takes action against anti-Semitism. The State of Israel, whose founding resulted especially from the crimes of the Shoah, has our full solidarity in ensuring its own self-defense. We also express our full support to the people of Palestine who are actively defending themselves against the Hamas terror regime.
